A private, offline-first gym and macro tracker for iPhone that builds your calorie, macro and workout plan from your goal, logs sets in seconds, and keeps every rep on your own phone — no account, no ads, no servers.
ForgeLift is a private, offline-first gym and macro tracker for iPhone. It asks about your body, activity and goal, then sets your calorie and macro targets and generates a workout split to match. It logs sets in seconds, detects personal records automatically, tracks macros and water, and syncs through your own iCloud — with no account, no ads and no servers. Built by one developer in Melbourne. Free on the App Store.
ForgeLift is a workout and nutrition tracker built for the ninety seconds between sets. It starts by building you a plan: a short setup asks your date of birth, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal, shows the calories it takes to maintain your weight, then sets a daily target and protein/carbs/fat/fibre numbers for the goal and pace you choose — with an estimate of how long it will take. Pick the muscles you want to prioritise and how many days a week you train, and it generates a starter split with real exercises, sets and rep ranges. Its weekly split then follows your real schedule — swap a day and the future re-plans itself while the past never changes. Set logging takes seconds, with your last session shown in every field; personal records for weight, reps, estimated 1RM and volume are detected automatically, with a concrete next-load suggestion when you're ready to progress. A rest timer runs on the lock screen and Dynamic Island. On the nutrition side there's a calorie ring with protein, carbs, fat and fibre, fast food logging with presets, custom foods and recipes, and water tracking. Everything stays on your iPhone and, optionally, in your personal iCloud; the app runs no servers and collects nothing. ForgeLift is built and maintained by one developer in Melbourne, Australia, and is free on the App Store.
ForgeLift comes from one developer in Melbourne who lifts and got tired of gym apps that demand an account, a monthly subscription and a copy of your data just to count sets. The bet: a tracker can be genuinely fast, genuinely private, and free — if it runs entirely on your phone instead of someone's servers. There's no company monetising your workouts, no analytics SDKs, and no login screen. Version 2.0 pushed that further: the goal-based planning most trackers reserve for their paid tier — calorie and macro targets, and a generated workout split — ships free and computes on-device. If ForgeLift ever charges, it will be for something genuinely additional, never for what's already in the app, and never for your data.
