The short version: ForgeLift collects nothing. Your data stays on your iPhone and, if you enable sync or backups, in your personal iCloud account. We run no servers, use no analytics, show no ads, and never see your data.
Everything you enter — workouts, sets, food entries, water, weigh-ins, settings — is stored in the app's private storage on your device. If you enable iCloud sync or backups, encrypted copies are stored in your personal iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database and your iCloud Drive). Only your Apple Account can access them; the developer cannot.
Nothing. The app sends no data to the developer or to any third party. There are no accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising, and no crash-reporting services beyond what Apple provides to all developers when you opt in to sharing analytics with app developers in iOS settings.
With your permission, ForgeLift reads your step count, active energy and body weight from Apple Health, and writes your gym sessions and weigh-ins back to Apple Health. Health data is used only to display your activity inside the app. It is never transmitted anywhere, and it is never used for advertising or shared with third parties, in line with Apple's HealthKit rules. You can withdraw access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Because there are no accounts and no developer-held data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children — because it collects no information at all.
If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated here first and the effective date revised.
